Synopsis
With his school days coming to a close, Yuuki Wakura is anxious about what lies ahead. As he laments the thought of leading an ordinary life, he is abruptly pulled into Mato, an alternate dimension teeming with dangerous monsters known as Shuuki. Since Mato's discovery, incidents of people accidentally crossing over have become frequent. To counter the Shuuki threat and rescue those like Yuuki, the all-female Demon Defense Force was created. Its members are empowered by "Peaches," Mato fruits that bestow supernatural abilities exclusively on women. Though Yuuki's predicament is perilous, he is rescued just in time by Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the Demon Defense Force's seventh unit. Despite Kyouka's exceptional combat prowess, she has been hindered by her Peach-granted ability, Slave. This power allows her to control a living being and harness its strength, but the Shuuki she has enslaved so far have all proven disappointingly weak. When Yuuki and Kyouka are cornered by a swarm of Shuuki, Kyouka resorts to an untried tactic: using her ability on a man. To her astonishment, Yuuki's slave form is far more powerful than she ever anticipated. Convinced that the young man is the key to unlocking her full potential, Kyouka invites Yuuki to join the Demon Defense Force—though not as an ordinary member.
