Synopsis
A long time ago, birds and beasts were at war. The conflict was fierce, and the cunning bats would take the side of the birds when that faction seemed to be winning, then switch to siding with the beasts when those creatures gained the upper hand. Eventually the war ended, the two groups made a peaceful agreement, and a grand celebration of friendship was organized. However, when it was time for the bats to perform in the festivities, their two-faced behavior was revealed, and no one wanted anything to do with them. From then on, the bats have been too embarrassed to appear during daylight, venturing out only at night to hide their faces in the dark.
