Synopsis
Kusuko Harada, a high school student, has a secret crush on her classmate Mishima Takeshi, who is well-known for his many romantic entanglements. When Mishima's current girlfriend breaks up with him, he asks Kusuko to be his partner for the upcoming class trip to Kyoto, filling her with joy. Unbeknownst to Kusuko, Mishima is actually obsessed with Shouko, his former middle school teacher, despite their significant age difference and the taboo nature of their relationship. Shouko, meanwhile, is dealing with her own unhappy marriage. Mishima's friend and steadfast supporter, Kotaro, strongly condemns this affair. As conflicts escalate, Mishima gets into fights with other students and ultimately gets expelled. Overwhelmed by guilt, he decides to break things off with Kusuko and vanishes from her life. Will true love overcome these hurdles?
