Synopsis
Mirai Mizue advances his exploration of music and motion in his latest hand-drawn "cell animation," Tatamp. This should not be confused with traditional cel animation; Mizue’s distinct approach involves drawing and coloring on paper by hand, then scanning the images into a computer for editing. The title "Tatamp" reflects the microscopic organisms—amoebas and other tiny life-forms visible under a microscope—that his creatures resemble.
