Synopsis
Ma Lei, whose online alias is "Ma Mou Ren," is a celebrated game designer whose mobile games have consistently held the top spot on the "Lemon Best-selling" chart. Despite drawing criticism from the gaming community, major companies continue to seek his work due to its overwhelming popularity. Ma Lei's success does not come from innovative gameplay but from his deep understanding of human psychology, which allows him to make subtle adjustments that drive players to spend excessively on in-game purchases. One quiet morning in 2021, Ma Lei inexplicably finds himself transported inside one of his own mobile game worlds. At first, his detailed knowledge of the game mechanics helps him adapt, but soon the intentional flaws he designed to manipulate player behavior begin to cause unpredictable and strange consequences. Amid these challenges, Ma Lei encounters a new entity named "Xiao Bai."
