Synopsis
Continues the story of Volicia of Pluto: Vapor Trail Another Age 2006
The series unfolds in the year 2006, following Akio Hoshigami, a girl forced to abandon her aspirations of becoming a track-and-field athlete because of a leg injury. Together with her close friend Ayano Umisoe, Akio transitions into high school. Engaging in fresh activities and forming new connections, Akio slowly begins to get back to her former self. However, one day, Ayano suddenly goes missing.

The second installment in the Bousei no Volicia film series. Inside humanity's final stronghold, Akio—a member of the Heavenly Crest (Astronomy) Club—discovers the truth behind their world. Two pilots must be found to fight the last two Usurpers, who are hunting for the dwindling Fire of Life. During the clash with the second enemy, Akio confronts a hard choice between a happy present and protecting the future, a decision that demands she dedicate her very soul.
