Synopsis
Takumi Fujiwara has joined Ryousuke and Keisuke Takahashi to form "Project D." They have two objectives: Ryousuke aims to perfect his "High-Speed Street Racing Theory," while Keisuke and Takumi seek to sharpen their own driving abilities by taking on tough rivals along treacherous mountain passes. Project D's plan is to compete against street racing crews from other prefectures, striving to set faster times on both uphill and downhill runs. To draw in the most skilled opponents, Ryousuke builds a website specifically for announcing Project D's upcoming matches and publishing the team's results. The fourth installment of Initial D follows the trials and triumphs of Project D's members as they work to establish themselves as the top street racing team outside of Gunma Prefecture.
