Synopsis
In folklore, numerous stories tell of humans being tricked by clever and mischievous foxes. But what if it is actually people who project these qualities onto foxes and regard them with distrust? One winter day, Shirou and his younger sister Kanko head out to play in the fields and encounter a fox cub named Konzaburou. Despite their initial wariness due to foxes' reputation as deceivers, the siblings not only befriend Konzaburou but also accept his offer to attend the evening performance that foxes hold in the forest. What awaits the children is a remarkable experience that could forever change how they view these animals. A short film based on a story by Japanese author Miyazawa Kenji.
