Synopsis
In Whisper of the Heart, Shizuku Tsukishima, a lively 14-year-old, spends her free time reading books and writing poems. One evening, while looking at the checkout cards in her library books, she notices that a boy named Seiji Amasawa often checks out the same titles. Intrigued by this shared interest in literature, Shizuku decides to find this mysterious boy. On a train ride, she follows an unusual cat that leads her to a charming antique shop, where she discovers a cat figurine called "The Baron." Captivated by the shop, Shizuku unexpectedly meets Seiji, and they quickly form a close friendship. As their bond grows, Shizuku learns about Seiji’s dreams, which stirs a sense of uncertainty in her about her own path and abilities. Despite her doubts, Shizuku’s connection with Seiji inspires her to pursue her own ambitions. Encouraged by the whispers of her heart and guided by The Baron, she commits to discovering her true potential and chasing her dreams.
