Synopsis
This anime adapts a 1950s NHK radio drama centered on the three monkey siblings Yanbou, Ninbou, and Tonbou. Updated for a 1990s audience on NHK's new satellite channel, the series follows the mischievous trio as they eat crow soup, accidentally start a mountain fire, and race against the Pig People's king, much like ordinary children would.
