Chosen by the esteemed Shinju-sama as heroes, three young women are assigned to fight Vertexes, malevolent beings threatening global peace. Sumi Washio, Sonoko Nogi, and Gin Minowa, who once led idle lives waiting for their call to action, are suddenly thrust into a Vertex attack. Their initial lack of coordination as magical girls nearly leads to their defeat. Through sheer determination, they manage to triumph over their enemy, leading to a resolution to improve their teamwork and fighting abilities after the battle.
