Continues the story of Love Rice
In this series, rice, referred to as kome in Japanese, is brought to life as schoolboys. The story takes place at Kokuritsu Inaho Academy, which translates to "National Rice Ear Academy," where five newly enrolled rice-themed students work hard to surpass bread as the preferred grain among their peers. They form the "Love Rice" group and prepare to present the appealing qualities of rice grains through a performance at the "Harvest Show." This show aims to be a heartwarming 'kome'dy filled with laughter and enthusiasm, inspiring viewers to appreciate the benefits of rice, often described as "Japan's soul food."
