The series Yuke! Shouei-kun draws inspiration from Shouei, a well-known actor in the Super Sentai genre. He achieved considerable acclaim for portraying Gouki/GingaBlue in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman and has revisited that character in numerous other Super Sentai installments and films.
