Synopsis
Kakomareta Sekai is a short animation created by Makoto Shinkai using Lightwave 3D. It draws inspiration from Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami's book 'Sekai no Owari to Hard-Boiled Wonderland' (English title: Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World). The music was composed by Tenmon, who also handled the music for Shinkai's 'Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko', 'Hoshi no Koe', and 'Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho'. Running only 30 seconds, this short was initially available on Shinkai's website but was later removed due to bandwidth constraints. The likelihood of it receiving an official release is low, as Shinkai created it solely as practice with 3DCG programs.
