Synopsis
In the early days of the Spirit Realm, Yin and Yang were entangled in a primordial chaos until the Great Dao emerged, giving birth to spirits. These spirits created all things within the realm and poured their power into the Nine Sacred Artifacts, which they placed in the Valley of the Origin God to preserve the realm’s balance and continuity. Humans in the Spirit Realm, guided by the Torch Emperor, learned to harness fragments of the Great Dao, called Spiritual Qi, becoming the first rulers of humanity. Recognizing the immense might within the Valley of the Origin God, the Torch Emperor sought to obtain divine authority in a mortal body. However, the Sacred Artifacts were too powerful for anyone to control. Overcome by spiritual energy, the Torch Emperor perished, but before his death, he declared that whoever inherits the Nine Sacred Artifacts will gain eternal life, living as long as heaven and earth endure. Today, ordinary people can only survive within cities protected by these sacred artifacts. The Spirit Realm is split among the Xuan Yang Clan, the Moon Clan, and the Mountain and Sea Alliance, maintaining a fragile balance of power. Yingyue Liuli, the daughter and chosen heir of the Shadow Moon Clan’s leader, possesses exceptional talent. Her clan expects her to lead them to greatness, but Liuli’s only desire is to live a simple, carefree life as an idle slacker.
