Synopsis
This collection of animated shorts revolves around Bernard, a fictional polar bear who serves as the titular protagonist. Each three-minute installment highlights his inquisitive nature and features numerous instances of slapstick comedy. Aside from making incomprehensible sounds, Bernard never speaks. He is joined in these cartoons by a cast of supporting characters, including penguins Lloyd and Eva, a lizard named Zack, a chihuahua called Goliat(h), a baby named Sam, a dog named Pilot, a porcupine known as Pokey, and even Santa Claus. At the conclusion of most episodes, Bernard typically ends up severely injured or unconscious, the result of disasters triggered by his own clumsiness.
