Synopsis
Set a millennium in the future, the story takes place on Neoterror, a planet where artificial intelligence has recreated Earth's lost civilization. This world came about through the terraforming of T-Garden b, a planet 12.5 light-years from Earth. Two hundred and fifty years after the planetary reform administration was established, the artificial inhabitants enjoy a peaceful life inspired by the serenity of Earth's past. Taro, the protagonist, comes from this placid society and tends to be shy and reluctant to take action. But when he encounters the mysterious entity called "Tamagar," he gains the ability to transform into the wildly optimistic superhero "Gainaman." Using his new powers, Taro deals with various crises throughout the city. His fashionable younger sibling, Hanako, also seeks the transformation power from Tamagar and helps her brother as Gainaman No. 2. Meanwhile, Ai-chan, a humanoid terminal of the AI management bureau, along with her companion Rakkyo-boy, secretly chases after Tamagar, motivated by its inexplicable abilities. What are Gainaman's activities about? What is the true nature of Tamagar? And what is the purpose behind Ai-chan's mission?
