Synopsis
A French Bulldog named Alex is taken home from Happy Kennel by a girl called Ai. Ai shares stories with him from a book called The Adventures of Freddy, which features a dog who sets off to locate the Fortune Tree. Alex becomes separated from Ai after he mistakenly boards a bus following a girl dressed in identical clothes to Ai. Taking on the name Freddy, inspired by the protagonist in Ai's storybook, Alex starts his journey to reunite with Ai. Yet before he can get back to his owner, Freddy and the friends he makes along the way need to locate the Fortune Tree and prevent it from withering, because if it dies, all humans will lose their kindness and stop caring for their pets.
