Synopsis
In a reality defined by innumerable parallel dimensions, a connection dubbed the Prism links our modern world to these alternate realms, occasionally allowing energy and matter to seep through. This conduit becomes a vulnerability when monstrous entities called the Eight invade from another dimension, initiating an assault on humanity. In response, people utilize a force known as Skuld, which draws upon the power of the future, to fight back. Although the government organizes Skuld users into a military force named Norn, the Eight continue to cause devastation for years. Eventually, a boy named Asuma is identified as someone capable of wielding an ancient weapon.
