Synopsis
A music lyric video in short form for the song "The Crater" by Syudan Koudou, whose single dropped on that same date. The band officially writes their name as Syudan Koudou, but the correct romanization is Shuudan Koudou, since their name means "Collective Action." The Crater employs watercolor animation, especially for its space and atmosphere backgrounds, which never reuse the same watercolor painting; every frame consists of a differently hand-painted segment.
