Synopsis
After finishing the transcription of Buddhist scriptures, a young noblewoman called Iratsume enters a trance and ends up at a secluded temple that forbids women. At that location, she rouses the ghost of Prince Otsu, who was executed long ago. The prince's spirit remains unsettled because he confuses Iratsume with an ancestor who witnessed his death. The final image he saw before his execution was that ancestor's face, and her soul has continued to haunt him, preventing him from finding rest.
