Continues the story of White Cat Legend
In "White Cat Legend," Chen Shi, a young man from the countryside, travels to Luoyang to find a long-lost older sibling, whose identity was only disclosed after their mother's death. Without knowing the brother's face or name, Chen arrives in Luoyang broke. Circumstances land him a job at Dali Court, where he serves Vice Minister Li Bing, who appears as a large white cat. This historical tale depicts the daily routines of Dali Court officials under the reign of Empress Wu Mingkong.
