Synopsis
The track is drawn from a concept album centered on a fictional town built atop a giant catfish. Every song on the album tells a distinct story taking place in that town. The idea of a small town was one of Yonezu's early concepts for the album, which prompted him to develop characters and their narratives. Yonezu feels that the lyrics of "vivi" most closely reflect his own emotions.
