Synopsis
Hikari Hanazono has always excelled at things beyond the reach of ordinary people. As a child, she believed no one could surpass her—until she encountered Kei Takishima. Confident of victory, Hikari challenged him to a contest. However, things didn't go her way; she lost not just once but every time she tried again. From that moment on, she has vowed to defeat Kei in everything, from academics to sports. To pursue this goal, Hikari enrolls at the same school as Kei—Hakusenkan, an elite institution for the wealthy. Together, they hold the top two academic ranks and are among seven of the academy's finest students in a class called Special A. While Hikari sees Kei as her rival, she remains completely unaware that he secretly has feelings for her. The members of Special A navigate competition, friendship, and a touch of romance.
