Synopsis

The narrator, an unnamed teenage boy living in contemporary Japan in an unspecified location, starts to realize that he can perceive odd beings that appear invisible to everyone else. As time goes on, he reflects on his connection with these entities, the reason behind his ability to see them, and what this reveals about his own identity. Then, one day, he observes that one of these creatures is acting in an unusual manner compared to before.
