Synopsis
One day, a Native American boy named Lan encounters two small bears at the base of the Sierra Nevada, where he resides with his father. Lan gives the brother bear the name ‘Jacky’ and the sister bear ‘Jill.’ As Lan interacts and plays with the two bears, they develop a close friendship. However, their joy proves fleeting. Lan’s father unintentionally kills the two cubs’ mother with a gunshot. Filled with remorse for them, Lan resolves to bring Jackie and Jill home to live with him.
