Synopsis
Since the passing of their parents a few years ago, Ryo and his sister Akane have lived on their own, maintaining a reasonably happy and normal existence despite their hardships. However, their routine is shattered by a secret government initiative aimed at combating Japan’s declining birth rates, which mandates that two young people must marry. Ryo resists the forced union, but he has little say in the matter. One night, his new fiancée, Shizuka, arrives at his home accompanied by dozens of government bodyguards tasked with ensuring the couple’s success. Unlike Ryo’s reluctance, Shizuka is eager to participate in the program and diligently performs her wifely duties despite his objections. Between interfering friends, overbearing guards, and an overly enthusiastic fiancée, Ryo’s life spirals into an unexpected direction.
