Synopsis
At a major university, the molecular biology department is home to Komada and Koshigaya, who are involved in more than just academic duties. Their secret research focuses on demon viruses—pathogens that transform humans into monstrous beings driven by a hunger for human flesh. During their investigations, they cross paths with Sayaka Murakami, the granddaughter of a well-known fortune teller. Driven by a sense of duty, the two academics decide to assist her in locating her missing grandfather. As they dig deeper, they discover that a gang of thugs is hunting Sayaka. Even more troubling, these criminals appear to be linked to the demon viruses themselves.
