Synopsis
A natural calamity strikes as the Purple Magic Orchid spreads uncontrollably through the human valley, causing people to fall into a state of despair and even lose their lives. Only Hua Qiangu survives thanks to the protection of the Flower God Tree, but the peace of Hua Qiangu is shattered when a baby carrying the Purple Magic Orchid poison is brought into the valley by the mythical beast Phoenix. The king and queen of Hua Qiangu violate the ancestral prohibition against admitting outsiders and decide to take in the infant, naming her Princess Peony and raising her to health. Suddenly, the Flower God Tree withers, and Princess Peony falls ill, causing the people of Hua Qiangu to become suspicious of all living things. They beg the king to send Princess Peony away. Unable to sever the mother-daughter bond, the queen turns to the Flower God Tree for help. She willingly sacrifices herself by entering the black enchantment to undergo a tribulation and bring back the flower soul, but the overwhelming power of the Purple Magic Orchid traps her, never allowing her return. Ten years later, Peony has grown up. The Purple Magic Orchid resurfaces, and Hua Qiangu faces an unprecedented catastrophe. Recalling the queen's teachings, Princess Peony sets out on an adventure with the flower soul seeds to save Hua Qiangu.
