Synopsis

This is the third installment of the Virtual Trilogy, blending anime with live-action footage seamlessly. Taking place at the dawn of the 22nd century, society has experienced extraordinary progress. Nowadays, children can become fully licensed doctors—a profession that previously required twenty-five years of training. Nanomachines are routinely deployed to fight diseases. Keita works as a Nanosaver, a youthful physician who employs virtual reality technology to conduct life-saving procedures by journeying inside patients' bodies and working from a virtual medical station (VMS). As the count of patients grows, many mysterious circumstances surrounding them come to light. During the latter half of the series, a tiny alien known as an Ethanarian and a galactic federation are introduced into the story.
