Synopsis
Located in a quiet corner of the Japanese archipelago, Tatsumiyajima serves as the central hub of a small island group. Life there is tranquil, with local youth attending school under the assumption that their days will remain untroubled. However, this perceived peace is an illusion. Humanity’s survival hangs in the balance, and Tatsumiyajima stands as the final bulwark against an alien and unfathomable threat. At the heart of this conflict lies the colossal mecha Fafner, a dragon-like guardian dedicated to preserving the last remnants of human existence.
