Synopsis
At Fujisaki Girls Academy, student council president Natsuo Maki is admired by all the students for her elegance and perfection. One day, Riko Kurahashi visits the council room on an errand and catches Natsuo practicing kissing techniques on a pillow—a scene far from graceful. Riko learns that Natsuo secretly craves more romance in her life and has been rehearsing "romantic situations" in private. Feeling for her, Riko agrees to assist Natsuo with her love research. Dubbed "Love Lab," the project involves practicing the fundamentals of love and romance, like "accidentally" bumping into someone and holding hands. Soon, the entire student council joins in the fun of the Love Lab. Through their experiments and real-life encounters, what will they discover about romance? With a cast of humorous characters and comic situations, Love Lab weaves a story of friendship and romance, all while keeping the laughter constant.
