Synopsis
In June 1863, a man with no memory appears at the Mibu Roushigumi headquarters in Kyoto. Vice-commander Souji Okita takes him in, naming him Jinsuke Tachikawa and enrolling him in their group. As the Mibu Roushigumi—later to be called the Shinsengumi—grow in power during the final turbulent years of the Edo period, Jinsuke and his fellow warriors are swept up in the era's upheaval. When his full memories eventually return, he finds the world transformed beyond anything he once knew.
