Synopsis
In the modern era, society is thrown into turmoil by the emergence of Despair People—individuals consumed by intense negativity and infested with parasitic monsters lurking within their minds, triggering widespread chaos. Amida, a high school student, is chosen by the enigmatic extraterrestrial Infinity X to become a hero. Granted the power to delve into the inner worlds of the afflicted and fight the monsters using her imagination as a weapon, Amida sets out on her mission. Yet she soon discovers that defeating these creatures causes her to absorb fragments of the hosts' memories, raising deep moral dilemmas for her. Matters become even more complicated when her close friend Kirari is transformed into one of the Despair People.
