Synopsis

Continues the story of New Game!

Since childhood, Aoba Suzukaze has loved the Fairies Story game series, especially its character designs. So after finishing high school, she enthusiastically applies to Eagle Jump, the company that makes her favorite games. On her first day, she is delighted to learn she will be working on Fairies Story 3, directly under the lead character designer Kou Yagami. Her new department is full of coworkers who share her love for games: Yun Iijima, a monster design specialist; Hifumi Takimoto, who is quiet and likes to communicate via instant messaging; Hajime Shinoda, an animator with a large collection of figurines; Rin Tooyama, the meticulous art director; Shizuku Hazuki, the game director who brings her cat to work; and Umiko Ahagon, the short-tempered lead programmer. New Game! follows Aoba and her colleagues as they handle the ups and downs of game development, from refining character designs to fixing the bugs that inevitably pop up during production.

The Eagle Jump team finally takes a well-earned trip to a ski resort to celebrate the launch of their newest 'Fairies Story' game. Since it's her very first company outing, Aoba Suzukaze is thrilled, but also a bit nervous because she's never skied before. Follow Aoba and her coworkers as they unwind and have fun at the resort.
