Deep within the earth lies a vast chasm known as the Abyss, teeming with strange creatures and ancient relics from ages long gone. Its origins and what exists at its deepest point remain unsolved mysteries that countless explorers, called Divers, have risked their lives to uncover by descending into its darkest reaches. The most skilled and courageous Divers—the White Whistles—are celebrated as legends among those who stay above. Riko, the daughter of the missing White Whistle Lyza the Annihilator, dreams of following in her mother's footsteps and exploring the Abyss's farthest depths. However, she is only a novice Red Whistle, permitted to venture no further than the uppermost layer. One day, she stumbles upon a mysterious robot who looks like an ordinary boy. She names him Reg, and he has no memory of what happened before his discovery. Convinced that the technology behind Reg must originate from deep within the Abyss, the two decide to journey into the chasm—Reg to recover his lost memories, and Riko to see the bottom of the great pit with her own eyes. Yet they remain unaware of the cruel truths awaiting them in the Abyss's true reality.

Around the year 2011, a small portion of humanity began awakening psychokinetic abilities known as Cantus. Over a thousand years later, in the village of Kamisu 66, Saki Watanabe is the last among her friends to manifest her powers and enroll at the Sage Academy, a school for psychics. Although all students there possess Cantus, they are not treated equally; soon after Saki starts, a classmate considered weaker than the rest suddenly disappears. One day while walking home with her friends—the determined Maria Akizuki, the intelligent Shun Aonuma, the observant Satoru Asahina, and the timid Mamoru Itou—she encounters two unfamiliar creatures called Monster Rats. These mole-like beings worship those who wield Cantus as gods. When Saki uses her ability to help one of them out of a predicament, she is met with profound gratitude. Now questioning the Monster Rats' place in society, Saki and her companions discover another disappearance. As time passes, they gradually seek answers to the mysteries surrounding them and begin to realize that this seemingly perfect new world conceals humanity's dark history.

Having survived the brutal trials of Idofront, Riko now holds a White Whistle, granting her passage into the Abyss's sixth layer—the Capital of the Unreturned. Together with Reg and Nanachi, Riko begins exploring this uncharted territory, where the ruins of the promised Golden City lie. As the trio adjusts to the harsh surroundings, they soon encounter dangerous creatures and treacherous terrain. Their journey leads them to a village inhabited by strange beings called "hollows." Despite the unsettling atmosphere that greets them, the three press onward to uncover the secrets of the settlement and the forgotten legacies of adventurers who once descended into the unexplored Abyss's horrors.

Having bonded through shared grief, the weary Nanachi accompanies Riko and Reg as they venture deeper into the Abyss. They face the Sea of Corpses, the fifth layer and the deepest point from which one can return without losing their humanity. Standing in their way is the masked sadist Bondrewd, whose gruesome laboratory acts as a final barrier for those seeking to go further. The sociopathic scientist intends to exact a heavy toll from Riko’s group. Haunted by Bondrewd’s past cruelty, Nanachi struggles with intense inner turmoil upon his reappearance. The group discovers that Bondrewd’s sole vulnerability is Prushka, an impulsive girl who claims to be his daughter. Riko, Reg, and Nanachi befriend Prushka and collaborate with her to thwart her father’s schemes and reach the sixth layer of the Abyss.

Long ago, after a brutal world war ended, humanity sought refuge in six city-states that appeared peaceful and ideal—at least outwardly. Shion, an elite inhabitant of No. 6, had his view of this world transformed by a chance meeting with a mysterious boy called Nezumi. Nezumi was one of many who dwelled in the desolate wasteland beyond the city's walls, far from the so-called utopia. Despite knowing that Nezumi was a fugitive, Shion decided to let him stay for the night and offered him protection, which brought about severe consequences: due to his actions, Shion and his mother lost their elite standing and were sent elsewhere, and the city's darker side began to reveal itself. Now, a long time after that life-changing first encounter, Shion and Nezumi are finally reunited. The former elite and the boy on the run are about to set out on an adventure that will, in due course, expose the devastating truths hidden within No. 6.

Since most shops are closed for the Obon holiday, they have no choice but to visit a local department store. Going outdoors triggers intense anxiety, but being without his computer is unthinkable. Unfortunately, his first trip out coincides with a terrifying hostage situation. Luckily, a group of teens with mysterious eye powers called the Mekakushi Dan helps Shintarou resolve the incident. As a result, he and Ene become involved with their group. Their abilities seem to fit together like pieces of a puzzle, and as each member's background is unveiled, the hidden link connecting them all steadily emerges.

After his friend Kuroneko died in a tragic accident during an expedition to find evidence of aliens, Ryouta Murakami spent ten years in a coma. Now awake and back in high school, he keeps his promise to honor her memory by searching for proof of extraterrestrial life. His world shifts when transfer student Neko Kuroha appears, looking exactly like his lost friend and bearing a similar name. Neko reveals she has supernatural powers, drawing Ryouta into a struggle with dangerous scientists chasing witches who fled a secret laboratory. As one of these escapees, Neko and others like her are being hunted, and Ryouta must protect them from their pursuers.

The Class, which also oversees raffia production, entrusts its executive power to a group called Organo, led by Keigo Oonishi—a self-righteous man with texhnolyzed legs, rumored to hear the "voice of the city." The fragile power balance in Lux shatters when a mysterious newcomer, Kazuho Yoshii, begins a series of crimes that incite conflict among the gangs. Amid the ensuing chaos, new figures emerge: Ichise, a former boxer mutilated by Organo and recently fitted with texhnolyzed limbs by Eriko "Doc" Kamata; and Ran, a young florist with the ability to see the future. As Lux spirals into madness, both Ichise and Ran become entangled in the greatest crisis the city has ever faced.

After a series of events, Albert befriends the Count and brings him into French high society. Gankutsuou follows the intertwined fates of Albert and the Count, and the ultimate cost of exacting vengeance.

On a world dominated by an endless desert of sand, an island called the Mud Whale sails across the expanse. Within it lies an ancient settlement, where most inhabitants are known as the "Marked"—a double-edged trait that gives them supernatural powers but also brings an early death. Chakuro, the village's archivist, is young and inquisitive, spending his days recording the discovery of new islands. This film compiles episodes nine through thirteen of the 2017 television series. Riko and Reg descend into the third layer, where Riko experiences the Curse for the first time. They continue down to the fourth layer, where an Orbed Piercer injures Riko's arm, prompting Reg to attempt a rescue. Nanachi arrives to help, saving Riko's poisoned arm. In exchange, Nanachi asks Reg to kill her immortal companion, Mitty. Following this, Nanachi joins Riko and Reg on their journey to reach the bottom of the Abyss.

This film compiles episodes one through eight of the 2017 television series, incorporating new scenes for the opening. It follows Riko as she descends into the Abyss alongside her robotic companion, Reg, and chronicles their journey to the second layer, where they encounter the White Whistle Ozen. Ozen then discloses information regarding Riko's mother.

In the near future, augmented reality is an essential part of everyday life. A gentle middle school girl named Yuuko "Yasako" Okonogi and her family have relocated to Daikoku City, despite rumors of people vanishing there. Her grandmother, known as "Mega-baa," runs a shop called Megasia that deals in illegal tools capable of interacting with parts of the virtual world. Mega-baa also operates an unofficial detective agency called "Coil," made up of children around Yasako's age who investigate and address corruption within the virtual world. Yasako becomes involved with the group when Fumie Hashimoto, a playful Coil member, helps rescue her cyberdog Densuke after he becomes trapped in virtual space while chasing a mysterious virus. Also looking into these corruptions and viruses is a sharp-tongued hacker named Yuuko Amasawa, whom the others refer to as Isako. Can Coil uncover the truths behind the mysterious viruses and corruption, and if they can, at what cost?

Picture this: you are going about your ordinary daily life—maybe hanging out with friends, enjoying a home-cooked meal with your family, or spending time with your significant other. Then, the next time you open your eyes, you find yourself thrown into a bizarre, unfamiliar world, stranded with five strangers on a boat that is rapidly sinking in the middle of a storm. For Natsu Iwashimizu, this is her new reality. Humanity has been wiped out, and the only remnants of Japan's population are five groups of men and women selected to be sent into the future in a desperate bid to ensure the continuation of the human race. While every other chosen individual possesses a practical skill—such as martial arts, specialized knowledge, or architectural expertise—Natsu is merely a timid high school girl who cannot even raise her voice to shout. Ayato Kamina's peaceful life as a high school student is thrown into turmoil when futuristic fighter jets suddenly attack Tokyo. In the chaos, he meets a woman named Haruka Shitow, who claims to be from a government organization called TERRA. She reveals that Ayato has been living inside a time bubble called Tokyo Jupiter, created by the Mulians—humanoids from another dimension—to isolate and conquer Tokyo. TERRA has been trying to break through the city's barrier ever since. Overwhelmed by this revelation, Ayato panics and flees. He runs into his classmate Reika Mishima, who leads him to the Shrine of Xephon, where a large egg slumbers. She begins to sing, and an unknown power awakens within Ayato, connecting him to a being called RahXephon that breaks out of the egg. Haruka soon finds him again and urges him to join her cause of fighting the Mulians. Caught between the crosshairs of the Mulians and TERRA, Ayato begins to question his purpose, grappling with altered memories and ultimately his very identity in this chaotic new world.

Kogorou Akechi established a private investigation agency called the Boy Detectives' Club, a team that handles inquiries of varying scales. During an assignment, junior member Kensuke Hanasaki encounters Yoshio Kobayashi, a mysterious boy who cannot die and has lost his memory. Impressed by Yoshio’s immortality, Kensuke proposes a pact: Yoshio joins the club to assist with cases, and in return, Kensuke will help him find a way to end his life. Though reluctant and indifferent to others, Yoshio agrees, unaware of the significant changes awaiting him. As he spends more time with his new companions while working on cases, he slowly starts to recognize their value. Based on Edogawa Ranpo’s "Shounen Tanteidan," this series follows Akechi and the Boy Detectives' Club as they tackle diverse mysteries while facing a concealed menace lurking in the shadows: the Fiend with Twenty Faces.

After their parents are killed, 11-year-old twin brothers Thor and Rai Klein are exiled from their home planet. They wake up on the terraformed world of Chimaera, where carnivorous plants thrive and the few human inhabitants are split into four factions called "Rings." College student Kaori Sawahara’s dream vacation to Okinawa turns into a nightmare when a terrifying threat rises from the ocean. Mysterious devices have taken over marine life, giving them legs so they can march onto land and rampage. Kaori and her companions, the lecherous Erika and the quiet Aki, are caught in this horrific wave of violence, exacerbated by the creatures’ foul odor of decay. After surviving the initial attack, Kaori attempts to call her fiancé, Tadashi, in Tokyo, but the line goes dead during what seems like another assault. In a dark void called the Lightless Realm, a group of children meet and form bonds, only to be separated and sent back to their own dimension. Years later, these same children reunite to battle "Admonitions"—monsters that also originate from that void—using robots named "Vess." But their efforts merely delay the ever-spreading Lightless Realm from consuming their world. Their lives change drastically when a new enemy appears as a "Corpse," whose song is said to kill anyone who hears it within nine days. The group hears the "Corpse Song," and as a result, each member begins to withdraw and become consumed by their own personal issues—ultimately endangering the fate of humanity.

By 2041, World War III has decimated two-thirds of humanity, and within this new order, faith in deities or supernatural forces is dismissed as absurd. To suppress potentially seditious thoughts, the state has formed a Special Weapon Enforcement division tasked with capturing and rehabilitating those who hold such beliefs. The Kirihara brothers, Naoya and Naoto, were kept hidden by their captors for years to hide their psychic powers, with a promise of freedom once the world could accept them. Now, navigating a harsh new social landscape that rejects psychics, the brothers are forced to flee from the relentless pursuit of Enforcement agents Yuuya and Takuya Kuroki.
