Synopsis
This short film is screened exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. Running nine minutes, it adapts a picture book by Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki, who previously authored and illustrated two other books that became Ghibli shorts (Sora Iro no Tane and The Whale Hunt). A boy named Yuji and their rabbit friend Gick discover a walking stick. To decide who gets to keep it, they attempt a footrace, a long jump, and sumo wrestling, but every competition ends in a tie. Out of ideas, the pair seek advice from Gick's Granny. Granny suggests they go treasure hunting. Who will ultimately claim the prize?
