Synopsis
Dr. Hell, a villainous scientist, operates from his hidden base on the Aegean Sea island of Bardos, directing an army of mechanical monsters with his cane. His loyal subordinate, Baron Ashura, assists in executing his sinister schemes. Opposing this threat is Kouji Kabuto, a passionate and impulsive teenager seeking revenge for his grandfather's death, which was caused by Dr. Hell. Kouji pilots Mazinger Z, a giant robot built from Super-Alloy Z, an unbreakable material. Equipped with powerful offensive capabilities, Mazinger Z can channel Photonic Energy through its eyes to emit the Koushiryoku Beam, causing massive destruction. Its most spectacular attack is the Rocket Punch. With Mazinger Z, Kouji may have found the means to confront Dr. Hell and his monstrous army effectively.
