Synopsis
In ancient times, a Persian merchant becomes lost during a windstorm. Suddenly, a nine-colored spiritual deer appears to guide him. Later, the deer saves a man who is drowning in a river. In return, the man promises not to reveal the deer's location. The man arrives at an imperial palace, where the king insists on hunting the spiritual deer to make clothing from its skin. Yielding to greed, the man leads an army of warriors to the spot. He falls into the river again, hoping the deer will appear to rescue him. This time, all the warriors' arrows turn to dust, and the man drowns.
