The poem "Watashi to Kotori to Suzu to" was originally written by Misuzu Kaneko. It was later turned into a musical composition by Ryuichi Sugimoto and performed by Aragaki Tsutomu. Subsequently, this song received an animated adaptation for the NHK Minna no Uta program.
