Synopsis
This 30-minute film focuses on the Himeyuri, a group of high school nurse trainees who offered medical care during the Battle of Okinawa in World War II. Produced by the Himeyuri Alumnae Incorporated Foundation, the organization that operates the Himeyuri Peace Museum in Okinawa, the movie aims to communicate the traumatic ordeals of these young nurses, many of whom perished in the conflict.
