Synopsis
A father and his son set out on a journey accompanied by their donkey in the story "Carrying the Donkey." First, the son rides the donkey, and passersby scold him. Later, the father rides it, and he too faces criticism. When they ride together, both are blamed once more. Walking next to the donkey, they become subjects of ridicule. Finally, they decide to carry the donkey themselves.
