Cinque Izumi, Nanami Takatsuki, and Rebecca Anderson are once again summoned to the continent of Flonyard to take part in the friendly war games between the three allied nations: the Biscotti Republic, Galette, and Pastilage. Cinque serves as Biscotti's hero and is the cousin of Nanami, who is Galette's hero. Rebecca holds the role of Pastilage's hero and is a close friend of Cinque. Dog Days'' begins in the human world. Rebecca packs her belongings for her return trip to Pastilage from Japan. Meanwhile, Cinque and Nanami depart from England to head toward Biscotti and Galette respectively. However, a strange run of misfortune—manifesting as a lightning strike—throws them off course. They end up in the vast Dragon Forest, guarded by a Dragon Priestess named Sharu. She tells them that demonic forces threaten to invade both the forest and the entire continent of Flonyard. A genuine war appears to be looming in Dog Days''. Will these three heroes manage to protect the whole continent from these evil entities?
