Synopsis
Over the span of one year, Gestalt was filmed inside a dormitory in Tokyo. Each day, Ishida applied paint to the wall and captured it with a camera using only the natural light coming through the window. This 7-minute piece, set to an eerie organ composition by J.S. Bach, is composed of those brief daily film clips Ishida recorded.
