Synopsis
A joint project between animation studio Kamikaze Douga and rock band Tokyo Jihen: an animated music video for Tokyo Jihen’s song Noudouteki Sanpunkan. Made available only through the docomo anime store platform for a restricted period, this music video employed a smartphone’s gyro-sensor technology to allow the viewer to freely toggle between two versions of the song: a fresh interpretation of the 2009 track created in 2020 with full 3DCG animation (displayed when held vertically) directed by Junpei Mizusaki, and the earlier 2011 live-action music video for the song (shown when held horizontally).
