Synopsis
Three months after the Demon King’s defeat at the hands of a hero, humanity celebrates its triumph while the inhabitants of the demon realm mourn their loss. To determine the next ruler, a tournament is organized to find the Demon King’s successor. Overseeing the contest is Vamirio, a fiery and formidable member of the Four Heavenly Kings. She harbors deep suspicion toward Helck, a human participant who professes a hatred for his own kind. Although Vamirio wishes to eliminate him, his immense power and widespread appeal make this difficult. During the competition, she learns that humans have disappeared from numerous towns. In response to this mystery, Vamirio devises a scheme to ensure Helck’s defeat, hoping to expose his true loyalties and protect the demon world from potential danger before it is too late.
