Synopsis
Continues the story of Kiratto Pri☆chan Season 2
In the second season of Kiratto Pri☆Chan, second-year students Mirai Momoyama, Emo Moegi, and Rinka Aoba attend Kirarigaoka Middle School in Kirajuku and have become hugely popular streamers as the idol unit "Miracle☆Kiratts." Their lives are shaken up when Dia, an enigmatic Pri☆Chan idol, appears and distributes Jewel Pacts to everyone. She also reveals the upcoming "Jewel Auditions," a competition designed to discover idols whose radiance resembles jewels and crown them as "Jewel Idols." To advance in the auditions, contestants must display their sparkling hearts, which causes their "Kiratto Jewel" to glow and grants them a "Jewel Coord." However, the grand prize belongs to the ultimate "Jewel Idol," who will receive the prestigious "Diamond Coord." The fight to determine the winner begins.
In this installment
A newly built amusement park named Pri☆Chan Land has opened near the Prism Stone shop. This semi-virtual world brings the mascots of idol teams to life, allowing them to perform as idols themselves. Park manager Meganii announces the Illuminage tournament, where idols compete to become princesses of each area within Pri☆Chan Land, with one team ultimately selected as Illuminage Queens at the finale. With support from their mascots, Miracle☆Kiratts, Meltic StAr, and other teams compete to claim the title.
Background
The broadcast of the third season's fifth episode (episode 107 in the series) has been postponed until further notice. Episode four will broadcast on April 26 as usual. From May 3, a selection of episodes from previous seasons will broadcast in place of the third season.
