Synopsis
In a convenient world where vending machines dispense nearly anything imaginable, the hero obtains whatever he needs from these machines on his quest to meet the creator. He attempts to purchase a replacement Earth, but the creator refuses his request, simply stating that a brand new Earth does not exist. The story's stark simplicity reveals the depth of Tezuka Osamu's despair over the degradation of the Earth, capturing the essence of this four-minute work.
