Synopsis
In-hye and Sun-mi return to their quiet countryside hometown after a long absence, only to be met with shocking news: their old friend Eun-sil died during childbirth. The town is thrown into chaos over the baby, whose father remains unknown, leaving the infant neglected and unprotected. As In-hye and Sun-mi, along with their friend Ji-young who never left the village, attempt to save the child, they discover that Eun-sil, who had a mental disability, was exploited by the villagers. Overwhelmed by anger toward the townspeople and burdened by their own guilt over Eun-sil, In-hye and Sun-mi grapple with their past abandonment of her. Can they now manage to protect her baby to the very end?
