Synopsis
Kyosuke Murata is raised by his overprotective mother Shizuko after his father abandons the family when he is a small child. As an adult, he is thrust into the brutal underworld of Japanese organized crime when his mother becomes entangled in a gang-related incident. Opposing the Murata-gumi syndicate, he discovers that its boss is the father who left him years ago. Climbing the ranks of the organization, Kyosuke eventually brings half of Japan's gangs under his control, only to find the remaining half have united against him, igniting the largest gang war in the nation's history.
